Nacido en la Ciudad de México y pasando la mitad de su vida en Estados Unidos, Gonzalo se considera un orgulloso 'Chicano'. A la edad de 7 entra al coro en un campamento de verano y se enamora del canto. Su primer grabación fue a los 8 años en San Antonio, Texas y continua rodeado de arte durante toda su juventud, creando una cuna musical marcada por las mejores escuelas dramaturgas en la ciudad de Mexico y en Los Angeles asi como nutriendo sus deseos escolasticos y recibiendo una maestria en Psicologia al mismo tiempo. Decide seguir su sueño y conocer al maestro de canto de Michael Jackson, Seth Riggs, quien le confirma su potencial como artista. A finales del 2009 viaja a Bogota, Colombia, para grabar su disco debut. Nombra su disco 'Borderless', o 'Sin Frontera', con fecha de lanzamiento Enero del 2010, un llamado a la tension politica global por diversidad étnica, asi como una metáfora a los límites que lleva dentro cada ser humano. Su música esta disponible en ITUNES y AMAZON como descarga digital, asi como pudiendo pagar en efectivo en 7-11, OXXO y la mayoría de bancos en México, y recibir su CD por correo. 10 pesos de cada disco vendido se dirigen a la salud preventiva para familias en EU sin seguro médico asi como en México. Born in Mexico City and with half of his life spent in the US, Gonzalo is self-considered a proud ‘Chicano’. At age seven he enters choir at summer camp realizing he found home. At age eight he records his first tape, singing to the tunes of one of his idols, Stevie Wonder. He continues to pursue his artistic desires as well as education throughout his young adulthood, studying at renowned Steppenwolf theatre in Los Angeles while at the same time finishing a masters degree in Psychology in San Diego. He follows his dream to meet Michael Jackson’s voice instructor, Seth Riggs, who confirms his potential as an artist. In late 2009, he records his debut-album titled "Borderless" in Bogota, Colombia, a call against personal limits and a metaphor to contemporary global migration and its innate political tension.
